About this deal

It is an oil-soluble, slightly yellowish powder that is not absorbed into the skin too much. This is good news for a sunscreen agent as it needs to be on the surface of the skin to do its job properly. Regarding Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine side effects, we have good news here as well: it has a great safety profile and unlike a couple of other chemical sunscreens, Trinosorb S (and M) does not showestrogenic activity. Although you can use both products on your face and your body, the biggest difference between these two products is that the Biore Aqua Rich UV Watery Essence is better to use on your face as a foundation primer rather than the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel, which may be better to use on your body. The Biore UV Aqua Rich watery Gel may be used on your face for foundation primer, but the chances that the sunscreen gel would become flakey is higher since the gel version is denser than the watery essence version. Given the exotic UV-filters, I found the Biore watery gel sunscreen provided terrible UV protection compared to other sunscreen products I’ve tested. I was also perplexed at the results given that Biore’ is typically a brand recognized for its high product quality and that all the asian moms and women over 30 love this lotion (Gasp! How could you! I blame the martinis). Water, Ethanol, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Isopropyl Palmitate, Lauryl Methacrylate/Sodium Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl benzoate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Dextrin Palmitate, BG, Xylitol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Alkyl Benzoate (C12-15), Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Propanediol, Glyceryl Behenate, Vinyl dimethicone / methicone Silsesquioxane crosspolymer, Cetanol, Agar, Sorbitan Distearate, Isoceteth-20, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Arginine, Potassium hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Royal Jelly Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol, EDTA-2Na, BHT, Fragrance

Given the bad results from the first test and given the insane cult following of this sunscreen (so many people couldn’t be wrong, right!?), I thought it pertinent to source a different sample and see if I had maybe tested a bad sample. Unfortunately, the second sample from a completely different bottle tested just about the same, with poopy-poo-poop results. While both the Watery Essence and Watery Gel offer lightweight, watery textures, the gel is more runny and leaves a slight tone-up effect. This is due to the gel's hybrid nature, combining both mineral and chemical SPF protection. The Watery Gel is also a popular choice for body application, whereas the Watery Essence is designed specifically for the face. May be drying to some people’s skin types, or vice versa, greasy (may depend on your skin type or environment you live in) Are you into sunscreen agents? We have shiny explanations(along with product lists) about others as well: Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol, aka Tinosorb M, the good buddy of our current molecule Tinosorb S Even though it's a super waterproof type (confirmed in an 80-minute water resistance test), it comes off easily with regular soap.

Water, ethanol, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, (lauryl methacrylate/sodium methacrylate) crosspolymer, ethylhexyl triazone, dimethicone, alkyl benzoate (C12-15), titanium oxide, hexyl diethylaminohydroxybenzoylbenzoate, bisethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyltriazine, (dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone) crosspolymer, BG, xylitol, dextrin palmitate, DPG, hydrous silica, hydroxyethyl cellulose, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, cetanol, polymethylsilsesquioxane, (vinyl dimethicone/methicone) Sesquioxane) crosspolymer, triethoxycaprylylsilane, propanediol, (acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate) crosspolymer, glyceryl behenate, polysorbate 60, aluminum hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, stearic acid, stearyl Alcohol, sorbitan distearate, agar, polyvinyl alcohol, isoceteth-20, stearoyl methyl taurine Na, stearoyl glutamic acid, AMP, stearoxy PG sodium hydroxyethyl cellulose sulfonate, arginine, glutamic acid, locust bean gum, maltose, sodium hyaluronate, royal jelly extract, Phenoxyethanol, EDTA-2Na, BHT, fragranceBoth items are formulated for the face and body, delivering maximum UV protection of SPF 50+ and PA++++. The Biore Watery Essence is wildly popular in Japan and for good reason. This lightweight chemical sunscreen glides onto the skin and leaves absolutely no white cast behind. It's a new generation sunscreen agent that was specifically designed for high SPF and good UVA protectionand based on a 2007 study that compared 18 sunscreen agents available in the EU it really had the best SPF protection(they used the highest concentration allowed by EU regulations from each 18 sunscreens and Trinosorb S gave an SPF 20 all by itself). Active ingredients: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Titanium Dioxide, Bisethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate These ingredients work together to hydrate and protect the skin from free radicals, while Arginine boosts collagen synthesis and Royal Jelly adds a brightening effect. With its skin-friendly formula and refreshing texture, it's no wonder the Watery Essence has become a go-to for many.

There is no explanation on how much sunscreen to use, so it’s difficult to determine how much to put on and reapply to protect your skin from the UV. However, due to the complex and well-developed formula, as well as the ability to build up the product without making your skin uncomfortable, I’m not too worried about how to use it. But it would be nice to have some reference to follow. The Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel is one of those super popular word of mouth sunscreen lotions talked about by asian women the world renown. Why asian women? Because I only know the people mentioning this sunscreen to me happen to be asian women. Truth be told, one asian man told me to retest this sunscreen, but that’s neither here nor there. I don’t know why I am even writing this, one too many martinis maybe. For my everyday makeup look, I usually apply concealer or foundation on top of my sunscreen. When I used the Biore Sunscreen in the same method, my makeup did not budge at all, which means that it’s very effective to use as a makeup primer. Also I got a Nacific item and didn’t get a Stray Kids PC which I have come to expect now which is maybe a little selfish but I was really sad I didn’t get one this time! The Bioré UV Watery Essence Aqua Rich Sunscreen contains an advanced micro defense formula that is specifically developed by Bioré for this particular product. The formula not only helps spread the product evenly and smoothly onto the surface of the skin, but the formula lets the product stay on your face longer.
